Hi, I’m Sherie! I’m a certified holistic health coach born and raised in San Diego. If you met me, you’d know pretty quickly that I’m extremely passionate and a girl with big goals and dreams! I remember when I was younger I did not always know that I wanted to achieve big things in my life, or that I was going to. I certainly had no idea that I would become a health coach, let alone have a blog! I was a shy girl with low self-esteem living in a small town just going with the flow. I would never really “dream big” about what I saw myself doing as I grew older.
Fast forward to 2019, the year everything fell apart in my life; or so I thought at the time. From a failed relationship, and being in poor health to losing a long-time friendship, having no job, a broken down car, and a sick family member, I felt I would never catch a break! Everything had to fall apart that year for better things to come into my life, and for me to grow into the strong woman I am today. You know what they say, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. Through hard times you come out stronger and more resilient.
Towards the end of the year and into 2020, things started to change for the better. My mental health improved tremendously, I started to feel better in my body again while fueling my body with nutritious foods and working on having a more positive mindset. I gained clarity on my career path and life’s purpose to become a holistic health coach helping and inspiring women to take control of their health and adopt a sustainable holistic healthy lifestyle that they love and that helps prevent lifestyle diseases!
There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle of course, but I can tell you that you don’t need to count calories or macros, go on a fad diet, or do some weird “detox” to hit your health goals. If you’re looking to and are ready to achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle, then you’re in the right place! On this blog you can expect to learn about all things from healthy eating habits to plant-forward nutrition, creating a sustainable wellness routine, swapping out toxic products, and much more you’ll want to stick around for ;)!
